This project was developed in collaboration with the renowned Jawaja artisans of Rajasthan, who have upheld a legacy of leather craft since the 1970s. Known for their minimalist tools and sustainable processes, they are key to preserving traditional craftsmanship.

Working alongside them, I learned how they use simple, time-honored techniques—from natural leather tanning to hand-molding shapes and stitching with minimal tools. This hands-on experience culminated in a unique collaboration, blending their rich heritage with contemporary product design.
