I'M
Souvik Bhattacharya

Product Designer

Started my design journey at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) before leveling up at the National Institute of Design (NID). Originally from Calcutta, my curiosity (and a deep love for good chai) has taken me across India. When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me restoring antiques or having long conversations with old folks—they have the best stories.

Over the last 11 years, I’ve gone from crafting tangible products to designing digital experiences. Before my master’s, I dabbled in everything from social innovation with UNESCO to creating accessories for Harley Davidson. This wild mix of experiences led me to Unilever, where I first dove into user research and product conceptualization.

Now, at Accenture Song, I’m working on an AI-driven project for Google, figuring out how AI can make applications smarter, reduce grunt work, and create better user experiences. I also help drive business development and contribute to design initiatives that (hopefully) make life easier for both users and designers.

Before this, at Wipro, I worked with brands like Dell to optimize supply chain management and revamped applications for United Healthcare. My UX approach isn’t just about screens—I love tackling user journeys, service design, and even exploring VR for training.

Outside of work, I’m on a mission to visit all 36 states and union territories of India (25 down, 11 to go!). Traveling keeps me inspired, fuels my design thinking, and gives me plenty of stories to tell.

The best part of my journey? The people, the collaborations, and the constant learning. Always open to new ideas, great conversations, and, of course, more travel recommendations!
